Unleashed~Chapter Three - Myst

I wake up the next morning in my bed. I realize we are in the same position as last night and smile.

“You are adorable when you sleep.” He says startling me. I jump slightly and he chuckles. “I didn't have the heart to wake you.”

I get up off him and smile. “It's fine.” I go to my closet and change into a pair of spandex pants and a tank top.

I walk out into the living room and find Kyoku at the door.

"Hey, it's Myst home?" A tall man with short dark hair asks. Oh my, Quin is back.

"I don't know..... Is she?" Kyoku asks playfully and I can tell he is trying to be funny.

He grunts “Who are you?" He leans against the door frame watching Kyoku

"Kyoku shade... And you? Who are you?"

"Names Quin." I can tell he is trying figure out what this guy is. "Never seen you around, you new?"

Kyoku shrugs "Define new... New to the area... New to this house... New to life?" I can see that his tense.

"Just new." Quin smiles and I can see the shadows moving around them.

"Hmmm, you look like you would be a good meal...." Kyoku smiles.

"Don't even think about it," I walk over to them.

"Ah, there she is." Quin smiles as he sees me. "I was wondering where you went."

"Nice to see you too," I growl.

You always had the warmest welcome." He smiles, the shadows moving again.

"You tell them to stop now," I growl.

He laughs. "No, they are fine. You're used to it. You have one in your house right now. I would say you're fine."

Kyoku crosses his arms "You might want to curve your tongue asshole.... I am not you... You should see the difference in our power by just being in the same vicinity of me...."

He laughs. "Then you should know that I'm different. Like you except I got part angel in me like her."

"Yeah OK it's been lovely seeing you but now you can go," I stay next to Kyoku.

"Nah. I need a place to stay. I knew there is plenty of room here."

“You can't stay here, I'm sorry,” I try to smile but failed. Quin gives me the creeps.

“So you have just replaced me?” He has the nerve to sound hurt.

“No, I did not replace you. I simply have moved past you.” I roll my eyes.

Kyoku inhales sharply. “Your part angel?” I can see his shadows moving around him.

“Yeah, bud and guess what? Angels and devils don't mix.” Quin smiles as Kyoku's shadows go wild for a couple of seconds. Quin uses his shadows to bring Myst closer to him.

I smack Quin. “Stop coming in and out of my life, you need to leave. And for good.” I try to push him out the door but he grabs my wrist.

Kyoku pulls me back to him using his shadows. A wall goes up suddenly and I can still see Quin but I doubt quin can still see me.

“Just jump from one shadow to another. See how well that blows over when you piss off a shadow prince.” Quin smiles before disappearing.

“Angel?” Kyoku sounds confused. "I should go." He sounds hurt and I am so confused. What just happened?

I stand there shocked. Not seeing the problem here I grab his arm. “Why do you have to go?” I look up at him. “Please don't go.”

Kyoku looks at her hand then to her face. “I am sorry my little goddess but, I can't use you so I must go.” He takes her hand off his arm and his shadows start to swirl around him.

I shouldn't have grabbed him at the last minute but I did. “What were you planning on using me for in the first place?” I hear a click and turn too late. A color is locked around my neck.

Kyoku grimaces, “Take it off her.” He says to his friend. Walking over to me he leans down to whisper in my ear. “You shouldn't have followed me.” he tugs a couple times at the collar around my neck but it doesn't come off. “Why did you just jump to put it on?” He is talking to the guy behind him.

The guy behind him smiles. “Bro you told me to do that with whoever you brought through so they can try and get away.” Shrugging he looks at me. “She plus a cute one.”

“We are not using her.” Kyoku growls. “Take it off. NOW!” His shadows are swirling around trying to get it off.

“It will only come off after, you know this.” The guy looks at me and snaps his fingers. “Let’s go.”

“I'm not going anywhere until I know what's going on.” I stand my ground just to get shocked to high heaven. “By the gods that hurt.” I ground out.

That's was the point” he smiles. “Now come along, little angel.” He starts to walk away and sighs when I still don't move. “Must I use it again?”

I look at Kyoku. “I'm sorry my little goddess. Go with him so we can figure things out.” He smiles pulling me into a brief hug. “Run along now, little goddess.”

I nod following his friend. We make so many turns I lose track of them. No way of escaping. “Here we are.” He opens the door and ushers me in.

I'm now officially a Prisoner.

Unleashed ~ Chapter Eight ~ Kyoku

“KYOKU!” My goddess yells after me as Quin’s guards drag me away. “Let me go!” I use my shadows to incapacitate one and the other guy just puts a collar around my neck. My shadows disappear and I cant call them back. I can still feel the shadows I left in Myst. I close my eyes as they drag me along the corridors so I can see Myst. “Quin! What do you expect me to do?” She runs at the door as he closes it. He locks it leaving her in the guest room. No windows and no other doors to get her out of there. “Myst,” I say her name and she looks up. “Kyoku?” She gets up and reaches her hand out to me but suddenly she is jolted away from me. I open my eyes in time to see them throw me in the kitchen. “You are on food duty.” One of them says. “I can't cook,” I tell them but they just walk out leaving me there. “You got put on cooking duty too?” A small voice pipes us behind me. I spin around for a quarter second I think it is Myst but then I realize it is the girl from earlier...
