Unleashed~Chapter Two - Kyoku

The goddess Myst is standing there wide-eyed. Staying the night at her place really made me look at her differently. I mean she is one sound sleeper. Her phone went off for at least half an hour. Her first-time shadow traveling and she didn’t puke. She keeps impressing me more and more.

“Well, what do you think?” He had decided to take her to the In Between or commonly called the Trill. There were a lot of assholes here but most of them knew to curve their tongue. It was a relatively nice place. If he wasn’t at home he could be found here. It looked like a town on earth except it accommodated for us supernaturals.

“What do I think? It is amazing. There is no species differential. I can see anything up to a level 10. It's impressive. I didn’t know such a place existed.” The goddess turns around to look at me.

“What do you want to see first?” I grin grabbing her hand.

“The wolves!” She is bouncing up and down in glee.

My little goddess wants to see those little shits first.

Before I even get the chance to tell her where a pack of wolves start walking our way. She is smiling so much, starting to walk towards them she stops halfway. The alpha walks towards here. I recognize the wolf. Black hair with golden flecks tells me its Raven and he's not exactly the nicest or the friendliest of the wolves. I take a step forward as he stops in front of her and he gives me a look to stay back.

In an instant, he is human and standing a foot taller than Myst. He is 6’5, broad shoulders, black hair and gold flecks in his grey eyes. He looks at Myst and smiles. “I’m Russel” He doesn’t elaborate any further.

“Myst.” She says with a smile. Holding out her hand he looks at it raises an eyebrow and puts his hand on hers. “So what is it like here in the Trill as a wolf?”

He raises his eyebrow and looks at me. “It has its benefits.” He simply replies.
“So you are the alpha correct?” She tilts her head to the side and it takes all my strength not to go and grab her. Russel is acting strange and I don’t like it.

“Perceptive this one.” I use that as my cue to go over to her. “Where did you find her?”

“Earth.” I don’t care to elaborate.

“She is THE one. You keep her.” He smiles and looks back at her. “Nice to meet you Myst but I must run.” He changes back to a wolf and bows. The others do the same before they all run off.

I freeze when he calls her THE one. It's just a myth there is no way it's real. I shake my head thinking its just him trying to confuse me.

She smiles. “That was amazing. It feels nice to not have to only interact with you supernaturals without having to bring them in.” Smiling she turns to me. “Where to next?”

“I don’t care it is up to you. What would madame like to see next?” Smiling I watch her face light up.

“There are too many things to try and pick just one. How about you decide what we should see next after all this is your second home so you would know it better than I would.” She smiles giving me free reign and I take advantage of that. I swipe her over my shoulder and start walking. She giggles “Where are we going?”

I smile and shake my head. “That's to remain a secret.” I see a pool of water nearby and think she would enjoy seeing the mermaids. I spin around a couple of times before I throw her in. She is shocked and when she comes back up her face is priceless.

“Hey! What was that for?” I see a tail move past her and she shrieks. Trying to get out quickly she bumps into a merman.

Kyrin has his arms crossed, Black hair that goes well with his tanned skin. HIs sharp Blue eyes are trained on her face. I can see his protective look in his eyes. I walk closer to the edge ready to grab her but he sees me and his eyes soften but he stays in the same position and I can tell its just to mess with her.

“I-I am so sorry.” She is frozen to the spot and I think she can tell she is in trouble. “Y-you, was-water, Ky-kyoku, I-I.” She doesn't know what to say and I take pity on her and jump in and grab her by the waist.

Kyrins laughter travels over us and I sigh as she relaxes. she smacks me and I flinch unprepared. “What was that for?”

“I think you know what that was for.” She sighs leaning into my arms as she watches Kyrin.

His eyebrow goes up and I can tell he's curious as to who she is. “So, Kyoku what are you guys up to?”

“Well, I am just showing my here around. She has never been here and I thought I should rectify that.”

He smiles. “Well, I feel honored that you guys thought to stop by. I must get back we were in the middle of a meeting.” Smiling he comes over to use and gives Myst a hug. I let go of her so it's not so awkward.

“I'll meet you on the sidewalk I need to talk to him for a minute,” I tell her and she nods getting out.

“She is THE one. I can tell.” He tells me and I roll my eyes, everyone keeps saying that but I can tell you she isn't. Besides, that is just a myth.”

“Whatever you say. I can tell you have your hands full with this one.” He winks before floating back under.

I shake my head and sigh. I don't understand everyone's fascination with her being THE one. I swim out and meet her on the sidewalk watching me. “Where would you like to go next?” I ask her.

She sighs and just shakes her head. “Home.” She looks up at me and I smile.

“I can do that. Come here.” I hold my arms open for her and she walks right into them. “I’m sorry,” I say as I let go of her. We are back at her place.

“Why does everyone keep calling me the one?” She asks me and I sigh.
“Honestly I don't know. It's just some silly myth and isn't even real.” I shake my head dismissing it. “You should get to bed, It's late.” She nods going into her closet to get changed.

I go out the living room and sit on her couch. The TV is right across from where I sit so I grab the remote surfing the channels. She comes out into the living room and I stare at her. She is wearing fuzzy black pants and A T-shirt that has butterflies on it. She grabs the blanket off the back of the couch and I realize it has a low back but a high front. The blanket she grabbed is made from the same material as her pants. I scoot against the edge of the couch so I can rest on the arm and she sits next to me. feet curled up.

“Come here.” I grab her by the waist and put her on my lap. She smiles and lays her head against my chest. I don't know what it is about her that calms me. I do things I wouldn't normally do but it doesn't bother me. I flick through the channels and she just watches the TV as I do. I put on some chick flick she seems interested in.

She falls asleep within the hour and I turn the TV off. I use my shadows to move us to the bed. I don't want to wake her so that's how we fall asleep.

Unleashed ~ Chapter Eight ~ Kyoku

“KYOKU!” My goddess yells after me as Quin’s guards drag me away. “Let me go!” I use my shadows to incapacitate one and the other guy just puts a collar around my neck. My shadows disappear and I cant call them back. I can still feel the shadows I left in Myst. I close my eyes as they drag me along the corridors so I can see Myst. “Quin! What do you expect me to do?” She runs at the door as he closes it. He locks it leaving her in the guest room. No windows and no other doors to get her out of there. “Myst,” I say her name and she looks up. “Kyoku?” She gets up and reaches her hand out to me but suddenly she is jolted away from me. I open my eyes in time to see them throw me in the kitchen. “You are on food duty.” One of them says. “I can't cook,” I tell them but they just walk out leaving me there. “You got put on cooking duty too?” A small voice pipes us behind me. I spin around for a quarter second I think it is Myst but then I realize it is the girl from earlier...
