Ascend (Trylle #3)

{SPOLIER ALERT!}

This review contains spoilers so if you have not read this book I waould advise against reading any further.

     Ok so this book did not go at all how I thought it would. First off Wendy and Finn broke things off. (Big shock to me!) In my mind before I read this last book I thought they would find a way to stay together. Nope, Loki had to come along and take her. I am not complaining because they actually make a really good couple but I guess I still kind of wished that Wendy and Finn were still together.
     I liked that Finn, Tove, Wendy, Matt, and the others got to have a happy ending as well. I was surprised that Tove and Wendy got a divorce. It wasn't devastating because they didn't actually love each other but they made one heck of a team. Tove and Wendy said they made one heck of a team to. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. After all he was gay and Wendy loved someone else. That some one being Finn then it became Loki.
     The second major event that surprised me a great deal was when Wendy and Loki went to the Vittra palace to talk to Oren. I was thinking that Oren would never let her leave. Even though he wants her kingdom. It was a pretty big shock to me. Then the part where Oren told Wendy that Loki's feelings for her was total crap. (I thought what they had was real. Such a twist) Even more surprising was the fact that this could have ended but she wouldn't give Oren, Loki even though every thing they had ever done was supposedly just to trick her. As we all know it was good that she didn't give Oren, Loki seeing how she becomes Queen and he become King.
     I know that when Tove hit her he wasn't in the right state of mind because he had exhausted he brain. I still thought maybe Oren somehow got inside Tove's head and turned him against Wendy. It was sad because he actually hit her and that goes without saying totally uncool. He apologized for it and that was the good thing.
     I know that her and Loki hooked up after that incident and that was a little weird for me. I knew at that point they would end up together. I was even more 100% they would end up together when Tove told Wendy that their arouras say they love each other. That's when he told Wendy he wanted to get a divorce.
     Ellora passing away was sad because she never got to spend a ton of time with her daughter. I don't even think they spent a whole year together before she passed. I thought that Loki was going to be joining her along with Oren but nope, Loki managed to survive. Oren, not so much.
     When Oren killed Loki I honestly thought he was going to die and so would Wendy. Thanks to her  "Emotional Ability" (I call it that because she only has the ability when she is emotional) She was able to kill Oren. Her ability was what actually worked on him. I thought that is was like a sacrifice. Loki, for Oren. When they saved Loki I found u was relived.
     I have to be honest, I like the fact the book didn't go the way I thought it would. It goes to show that Amanda Hocking really can write good books. What good is a book if you know what's going to happen? I absolutely love her books! They are always so well written. I hate the fact that the books end at the worst spot but at the same time it's the beast way to get us to keep reading the books.
     All in all I thought I was a really sweet book. It had a marvelous ending. I absolutely adore the fact Amanda Hocking put an epilogue at the end. It gave so much insight. Before when I finished the epilogue I was thinking that it couldn't end there but there was that short story bonus that really wrapped the book up. So many twists and turns. As soon as I started thinking one thing something would happen proving me wrong. I absolutely loved this book and I will definitely read it again. No doubt in my mind I won't.
     Thanks for this journey! I loved it!

Unleashed ~ Chapter Eight ~ Kyoku

“KYOKU!” My goddess yells after me as Quin’s guards drag me away. “Let me go!” I use my shadows to incapacitate one and the other guy just puts a collar around my neck. My shadows disappear and I cant call them back. I can still feel the shadows I left in Myst. I close my eyes as they drag me along the corridors so I can see Myst. “Quin! What do you expect me to do?” She runs at the door as he closes it. He locks it leaving her in the guest room. No windows and no other doors to get her out of there. “Myst,” I say her name and she looks up. “Kyoku?” She gets up and reaches her hand out to me but suddenly she is jolted away from me. I open my eyes in time to see them throw me in the kitchen. “You are on food duty.” One of them says. “I can't cook,” I tell them but they just walk out leaving me there. “You got put on cooking duty too?” A small voice pipes us behind me. I spin around for a quarter second I think it is Myst but then I realize it is the girl from earlier...

Superhero story

Now a superhero story thqt is a year old... btw I do not own any of the Marvel charaters in this story... that being said, heres the story... Hi, my name is Jake Kruger and I have a not so exciting power, I talk to fish. Now I'm no X-man and I'm not part of the Brotherhood, but as a kid I was bullied because my power. Later on was captured by the evil Mr. Sinister, the genetically modify mutant. This is that story. One day I was at my desk, listening to the radio playing ‘Something Like This’ by Coldplay and The Chainsmokers. It was the new hit and had a good tune when I got a notification from my group chat. ‘Who's on?’. It was her, my friend, my crush, Elizabeth. I type back ‘me’. I look up at my goldfish tank, waiting for a response. Turned on my computer, watching some videos. Then I clicked on the video that changed my life. I clicked on the video and it was about people and fail stunts, one of the people's name was Fish, so I whispered “Do a backflip, Fish”...

Blaming Juliet for Romeo and Juliet (this was an english paper I did)

       Romeo and Juliet, written by Shakespeare, is a story about two young kids from feuding families who fall in love, and then they both commit suicide. While I think there are multiple people who could be to blame, I think Juliet is the most to blame for both of their deaths.         One of the main reasons I blame Juliet is because of her emotions. She is a young girl going through puberty which normally means emotions are everywhere. An example of this irrational behavior is when Juliet meets Romeo at the Capulet party and falls in love with him almost immediately, despite the fact that their families are sworn enemies. “The only man I love is the son of the only man I hate...Love is a monster for making me fall in love with my worst enemy.” (I, v, pg. 24).         Another reason I blame her for their deaths is that she never once told her parents that she was married to Romeo. I feel like if she were to say ‘I can...
